MELETTI COFFEE
It is one of 150 historic cafes of Italy, remained in the original Liberty style, despite the renovations and restorations. In addition to the beauty of the building, this cafe, which overlooks the Piazza del Popolo - the "living room" of the city - is particularly dear to Ascoli for always being the place of social gathering and cultural excellence, a lounge in the living room especially in the summer with the staging of many outside tables. The facade of the building has been designed to integrate into the urban context: like the other buildings that frame the square, the Meletti has an arcaded porch, and at the first floor shows a row of arched windows in Renaissance style like the buildings opposite. Inside the cafe reveals its true nature Liberty round tables with white Carrara marble and cast iron, the chairs in Vienna style, the velvet sofas, decorations, large mirrors, columns, all of which are made according to taste era.
