The little church of the vane, was founded in the sixteenth century. near the place where legend tell has stopped the Holy House of Loreto before reaching the current location. Popular tradition told that the Holy House, after the fall of the Holy Land in the hands of Muslims, has been transported by angels in this place. Dedicated to Our Lady of Loreto, in this church still practice the cult of Mary. The name comes from the flag indicating to fishermen and sailors of Porto Recanati the way to the Holy House of Loreto, through an impressive journey. Is located in the countryside of Scossicci, in the coast north of Porto Recanati. |
