The Fiastra Abbey
This extraordinary Abbay was built starting from 29 November 1142 at the initiative of a group of Cistercian monks from the Abbey of Clairvaux in Milan.
The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Chiaravalle in Fiastra. This is a monumental building dating from the period of transition between the Romanesque and Gothic. In the facade there is a large rose window which is formed by twelve radial columns with a gray marble portal, ending in a rounded arch. The interior is in Latin cross with three naves divided into eight bays.

The Nature Reserve
The natural environment is characterized by three areas with different natural valences: the agricultural landscape that is, in reference to the current quality of urban life, a wealth of primary importance; watercourses (stream Entogge and river Fiastra) with their characteristic fauna and riparian vegetation and the lake "veins", a small lake basin, artificially formed, which was the subject of an interesting natural regeneration project;
The forest, which is a forest of over 100 acres came almost intact to this day, thanks to the care that they had first Cistercian monks, later the family Bandini and finally the Marche Region which has it declare "Floristic Protected Area."
