Loreto - Padova - St. Antony
After the visit and Holy Mass in the Basilica of Loreto, is advisable to visit Padua and the Basilica of Saint Antony.
The recommended way is to take the A14 motorway direction North.Take the exit onto A13 toward Padua/Bologna Arcoveggio, than Take exit 8 toward Padua Sud (partial toll road) and follow the road SS16.
From here follow the directions to Padua. The Shrine stay in Square of Saint, 11 (Piazza del Santo, 11).
It takes about 3 hours and 15 minutes

St Antonio from Padua
Born in Lisbon in 1195 by a noble and powerful family, was brought up (only 6 years) to the clergy of the cathedral to be educated in the "sacred letters". He spent two years in the monastery of Sao Vicente, tormented by the visit of ex-friends superficial and vicious. An illness forced him to get back into the sea, where-due to bad weather-was forced to retreat in Sicily. He spent a couple of months in Messina, then departed on foot to Assisi for the general chapter (the fraternal assembly), 1-8 June 1221.
